About the Role
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing Mihup’s cloud infrastructure to support a high-performance engineering environment. You will drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud-native deployments, ensuring system scalability, security, and efficiency.
This role requires deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), multi-cluster environments, and AWS infrastructure, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges to enhance system resilience and availability. You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to implement best practices in deployment automation, monitoring, and infrastructure security.

Key Problem Areas
Infrastructure Automation: Enhance and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes to ensure efficient resource provisioning.
CI/CD Optimization: Design and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines to enable seamless and automated releases.
Scalability & Performance: Optimize infrastructure to handle growing workloads while ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
Monitoring & Alerting: Implement robust observability and monitoring frameworks to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Security & Compliance: Define and apply best security practices, ensuring infrastructure aligns with audit and compliance requirements.
Cost Optimization: Establish cost-effective infrastructure management practices, tracking and optimizing cloud resource usage.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Automate infrastructure deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodeDeploy for seamless application deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.
Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, IAM policies, and data encryption.
Enhance observability through monitoring tools like Prometheus, New Relic, and centralized logging solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define DevOps strategies and improve deployment processes.
Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization, ensuring infrastructure efficiency and financial accountability.
Expectations
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native architectures.
Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure scaling, and security best practices.
CI/CD Mastery: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodeDeploy, or similar tools for pipeline automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools.
Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices-based deployments.
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Golang for automation.
Monitoring & Alerting: Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
Security & Compliance: Experience with audit, security best practices, and cloud governance policies.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
Cost Awareness: Understanding of cloud cost management and ability to optimize infrastructure expenses.
